The cook prepares meals for the personnel of an unmanned systems brigade following standard recipes and ration norms, and looks after food storage and the kitchen equipment. The work takes place in a base kitchen or in the field, under hygiene rules; whether the units get hot meals on time depends on it.
Responsibilities
- cooking meals according to standard recipes and ration norms;
- portioning and serving meals to personnel;
- observing hygiene and safety rules when handling food;
- ensuring proper storage conditions and shelf life of food;
- operating the kitchen equipment;
- keeping the workplace and food storage areas clean.
Requirements
- experience as a cook and the ability to work from standard recipes;
- knowledge of cooking basics and of food storage rules and shelf life;
- self-discipline, responsibility and tidiness;
- readiness to work in areas of combat operations.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus material support;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- support at every stage of service.
