Bomber Drone Operator
Combat Roles50 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The bomber drone operator flies a heavy drone that drops munitions on designated targets, lays mines and delivers ammunition and food to front-line units. Prepares the aircraft before every flight and checks that it is serviceable; during a mission works as part of a crew together with reconnaissance. The work is in the area of combat operations, by day and by night.
Responsibilities
- flying reconnaissance and strike missions with a bomber-type drone;
- engaging designated targets by dropping munitions;
- carrying out engineering tasks, including remote mine-laying;
- delivering ammunition and food supplies to units by drone;
- preparing the drone for flight and checking its serviceability;
- maintaining physical, tactical and psychological fitness.
Requirements
- understanding of how a drone is built, flying experience or simulator practice;
- ability to work with situational awareness systems and specialised software;
- analytical skills and the ability to make quick decisions;
- responsibility and attention to detail;
- readiness to carry out tasks in the area of combat operations;
- experience flying this type of drone is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
