Reconnaissance Drone Pilot (Mavic/Autel/Matrice)
Combat Roles50 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The reconnaissance drone pilot flies Mavic, Autel and Matrice drones on the front line and behind enemy lines: spots vehicles, positions and electronic warfare assets, records them on video and passes the data to the command. Works in a crew with a spotter and an analyst, and prepares and services the drones before each flight. The work is on combat positions.
Responsibilities
- conducting aerial reconnaissance on the front line and behind enemy lines;
- searching for, spotting and recording enemy vehicles, positions and electronic warfare assets;
- video recording and basic photogrammetric surveys;
- passing intelligence to the command and neighbouring units;
- working within a crew and keeping in touch with the spotter, gunner and analyst;
- preparing, configuring and servicing the drones before flights.
Requirements
- understanding of how a drone is built, flying experience or simulator practice;
- ability to work with mapping software and navigation systems;
- adherence to safety and confidentiality rules during missions;
- attention to detail and the ability to stay focused for long periods;
- experience with drones is an advantage;
- knowledge of the basics of aerodynamics and navigation is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000 to UAH 120,000;
