Electronic Warfare Station Chief

The electronic warfare station chief is responsible for shielding the unit's positions from hostile drones. The role involves deploying and setting up electronic warfare and signals intelligence equipment, detecting drones and countering them, analysing the characteristics of radio signals and staying in contact with neighbouring units so that the cover never lapses.
Responsibilities
- detecting hostile drones and countering them with electronic warfare means;
- deploying, tuning and maintaining electronic warfare and signals intelligence equipment in the field;
- analysing data and determining the characteristics of signals and radio sources;
- collecting and processing information and preparing reports on results;
- working with computers and specialised software;
- coordinating with neighbouring units on the situation and the cover of positions.
Requirements
- understanding of how electronic warfare systems are built and operate;
- interest in radio technology and readiness to master new equipment;
- attentiveness and the ability to work with large volumes of data;
- experience with radio-electronic equipment or in communications is an advantage;
- a radio engineering background or experience tuning radio equipment is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already in military service;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- full material support, including housing and meals;
- travel to the unit's location is arranged;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
