The truck driver carries cargo and people for an unmanned systems center on routes of varying length and difficulty. Responsible for loading and securing the cargo, checks the truck before each trip and fixes minor faults on the road. The work involves long trips, keeping to driving and rest time limits, and acting independently while away from base.
Responsibilities
- driving a truck on routes of varying difficulty;
- transporting cargo and personnel as tasked by the unit;
- loading, securing and unloading cargo;
- checking the vehicle's condition before departure and during the trip;
- fixing minor mechanical faults on the road;
- following traffic rules and driving and rest time limits.
Requirements
- confident truck driving skills;
- category B driving licence; category C is an advantage;
- ability to fix a minor vehicle fault on the road without help;
- responsibility and punctuality in completing trips;
- previous experience as a driver in a similar role is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus benefits and insurance;
- annual paid leave plus additional leave for family reasons;
- free medical care and statutory social guarantees.
