Drone Unit Driver (Category B)
Combat Roles50 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The driver of a drone crew delivers the operators and their equipment to the working area, waits for the mission to end and brings the group back. The vehicle has to be ready to leave every day, so inspection, refuelling and minor repairs are part of the job. Work is within a combat unit, with trips scheduled around missions and safety rules observed on the route.
Responsibilities
- having the vehicle ready on time for each task;
- driving drone crews to the working area and back;
- transporting the unit's cargo and equipment;
- regular inspection of the vehicle and keeping it in working order;
- fixing minor faults and preparing the vehicle for departure;
- following safety rules during work.
Requirements
- category B driving licence and driving experience;
- basic knowledge and skills in vehicle maintenance;
- basic computer skills, including MS Office;
- willingness to keep learning and improving;
- physical endurance and readiness to work in field conditions.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus benefits, insurance and free medical care;
- annual paid leave plus additional leave for family reasons;
- statutory social guarantees;
- professional development within the unit.
