Composite Structures Repair Technician

The composite structures repair technician restores drone airframes that come back from missions damaged: assesses the scope of work, cleans and reinforces the damaged areas and brings the surface up to final painting. This is workshop work in the unmanned systems center, with epoxy resins and fiberglass, in personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
- assessing damage to composite structures and defining the scope of repair;
- preparing surfaces: cleaning, sanding and degreasing;
- repair work with epoxy resins and fiberglass;
- building up and reinforcing repair areas of the structure;
- assembly and hand-tool work in the workshop;
- finishing and painting restored parts.
Requirements
- experience working with epoxy resins and composite materials;
- skills with sanding and hand tools;
- accuracy and high standards for the quality of the finished surface;
- readiness to work in personal protective equipment;
- experience in car body repair is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus insurance;
- free medical care and statutory benefits;
- annual paid leave plus 10 days of additional leave for family reasons.
