The medical company physician receives the wounded and sick at the evacuation stage: performs triage, decides who needs help first, provides emergency medical care and prepares patients for onward transport. This is clinical work within the medical company of the unmanned systems center, at a demanding pace, with medical records to keep.
Responsibilities
- triage of the wounded and sick arriving at the company;
- deciding the order and place of medical care;
- providing emergency medical care at evacuation stages;
- preparing the wounded for evacuation and supervising their loading;
- monitoring the condition of the wounded during transport;
- keeping casualty cards, registers and medical reports.
Requirements
- higher medical education;
- skills in providing emergency medical care quickly;
- experience with medical documentation;
- confident use of a computer and MS Office;
- resilience under stress and quick reactions in demanding situations;
- experience in a military medical unit or a healthcare facility is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus insurance;
- free medical care and statutory benefits;
- annual paid leave plus 10 days of additional leave for family reasons;
- professional development in the specialty.
