System Administrator

The system administrator keeps the unit's communications and equipment running: is responsible for stable internet access and network hardware, configures computers, tablets and telephony, lays cable lines and handles official correspondence over secure channels. This is technical work, mostly at the unit's base, with duty shifts.
Responsibilities
- keeping internet access stable and network equipment running without interruption;
- configuring the unit's computers, tablets, smartphones and office equipment;
- setting up Grandstream IP phones, routers and firewalls;
- laying UTP network cables, fitting connectors and connecting equipment;
- receiving and sending official correspondence over secure communication channels;
- keeping logbooks and official records according to established requirements.
Requirements
- experience working as a system administrator;
- confident skills in configuring PCs and network equipment;
- proficiency in MS Office;
- attentiveness, patience, resilience under pressure and readiness for round-the-clock duty shifts;
- knowledge of Cisco and MikroTik equipment is an advantage;
- a category B driving licence is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus insurance and free medical care;
- annual paid leave and 10 additional days of leave for family reasons;
- opportunity for job-specific training.
