Software Engineer (Mobile)

The software engineer develops the mobile applications the unit uses in its daily work: writes code in React Native, builds a component architecture that is easy to extend, and maintains applications already in use on tasks. The work takes place in a development team, in close cooperation with the backend team on data exchange interfaces, with code reviews and joint planning.
Responsibilities
- developing mobile applications in React Native;
- structuring components and libraries based on composition;
- working with the backend team to agree on optimal APIs;
- reviewing changes and colleagues' code;
- taking part in work planning and technical discussions;
- maintaining and improving the existing application code.
Requirements
- at least 2 years of commercial experience with React Native;
- knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern React: Hooks, Context, Suspense;
- applying SOLID principles and component composition in real projects;
- understanding of application architecture, state management and separation of logic layers;
- understanding of computer networks: HTTP, TCP, UDP, IP, sockets.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus insurance and free medical care;
- annual paid leave and 10 additional days of leave for family reasons;
- statutory social guarantees and benefits.
