Medical Orderly

The medical orderly receives the wounded, places them on stretchers and prepares them for examination, and helps doctors during triage and first aid. The orderly also escorts the wounded to medical facilities, cares for them and is responsible for order in the medical tent and the ambulance. The work is done within the medical company, often at a demanding pace.
Responsibilities
- receiving the wounded, placing them on stretchers and preparing them for examination;
- assisting medical staff during triage and the provision of first aid;
- rapid setup of the triage and evacuation section's tents;
- escorting the wounded to medical facilities and monitoring their condition on the way;
- caring for the wounded and changing underwear and bed linen in good time;
- maintaining sanitary and hygienic conditions in the tent and the ambulance;
- helping keep medical records on the wounded and sick.
Requirements
- ability to act quickly when providing emergency first aid;
- ability to work under pressure, responsibility and quick reactions;
- computer skills and MS Office;
- experience with medical records is an advantage;
- prior service as a medical orderly in a military unit is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 55,000 to UAH 60,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus insurance and free medical care;
- annual paid leave and 10 additional days of leave for family reasons;
- professional development in the field of the position.
