Unmanned Aircraft System Operator — a role focused on operating uncrewed aircraft systems to support both reconnaissance and strike tasks. The work includes conducting aerial observation, collecting and reporting actionable information, employing strike drones (including FPV), and providing updates used to adjust fires against identified targets. The role requires discipline, attention to detail, and readiness for sustained field work in a fast-changing environment.
Responsibilities
- operate uncrewed aircraft systems to perform reconnaissance flights and ongoing monitoring;
- conduct strike missions using drone platforms, including FPV, within assigned tasking;
- plan and execute missions based on the objective, airspace constraints, terrain, weather, and anticipated countermeasures;
- collect, verify, and report reconnaissance information to the command post in the required format;
- provide updates used for fire adjustment (target confirmation, changes to target status, and outcome reporting);
- maintain communication with the duty operations coordinator and deliver concise situation updates;
- follow safe operating procedures and information-security requirements when handling video, coordinates, and mission materials;
- perform user-level checks and basic upkeep of the UAS kit (pre-flight checks, batteries, link checks; identify faults and hand over for servicing through standard procedures).
Requirements
- citizenship of Ukraine;
- age 18+;
- medical fitness for military service;
- readiness to perform tasks in areas of hostilities;
- no criminal record for criminal offenses;
- communication skills, stress resilience, ability to work with large amounts of information;
- willingness to learn and develop;
- experience working with communication equipment;
- higher education in technical sciences or electronics;
- knowledge of technical systems and equipment;
- high level of responsibility and attention to detail;
