Procurement Specialist

The procurement specialist runs the purchasing of equipment and supplies for an unmanned systems brigade, from the annual plan to publication in the electronic procurement system: selects the procedure under Ukrainian public and defence procurement law, carries it out, keeps the documentation and answers to oversight bodies. Office work with documents and electronic systems.
Responsibilities
- planning purchases and drawing up the annual procurement plan;
- selecting the procurement procedure under the laws on public and defence procurement;
- conducting procurement procedures in line with Cabinet of Ministers regulations;
- preparing, approving and keeping procurement documentation;
- publishing information in the electronic procurement system;
- working with oversight bodies in the field of public and defence procurement;
- completing training in organizing public procurement.
Requirements
- experience as an authorized procurement officer in a military unit;
- knowledge of public and defence procurement legislation;
- ability to work with electronic procurement systems;
- communication and negotiation skills;
- ability to process large volumes of information;
- a degree in economics, finance or management is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- bonuses depending on task performance;
- housing provided or rent compensation;
- medical care for the service member and family members;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
