A Radiotelephone Operator is a service member responsible for ensuring reliable communications between units, configuring and maintaining communication equipment, monitoring signal quality, troubleshooting technical issues, and complying with information security requirements.
Responsibilities
- configuring and maintaining communication assets (radio stations, telephones, satellite systems);
- ensuring uninterrupted communications between command posts and combat units;
- monitoring communication quality, diagnosing and fixing technical faults;
- maintaining communication channels in field and combat conditions;
- applying cryptographic protection measures and ensuring information confidentiality;
- cooperating with other units to sustain stable communications during operations.
Requirements
- secondary specialized or higher education (preferably technical or telecommunications-related);
- experience working with radio and telecommunication equipment;
- desirable knowledge of basics of cryptography and information security;
- high technical literacy and attention to detail.
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of the period of martial law or service under a contract;
- monthly remuneration from 20,000 to 120,000 UAH depending on the performance of assigned tasks and orders;
- guaranteed assignment specifically to the relevant unit;
- provision of personal protective equipment and military property;
- annual leave in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
