The psychologist supports the mental well-being of the brigade's personnel: counsels service members on stress, fears and traumatic experiences, carries out assessments and emotional resilience training, and provides emergency help in crises. The work is individual and group-based and, where needed, extends to service members' families and to veterans.
Responsibilities
- counseling service members on stress, fears and anxiety;
- working through personnel's traumatic experiences;
- conducting individual and group psychotherapy sessions;
- assessing psychological condition using tests and standard methods;
- running training in stress management and emotional resilience;
- providing emergency psychological help in crisis situations;
- supporting veterans' adjustment and working with service members' families where needed.
Requirements
- higher education in psychology or psychotherapy;
- at least 2 years of experience in counseling or psychotherapy;
- knowledge of assessment and psychological correction methods;
- communication skills for building trust and rapport;
- emotional stability and the ability to work in stressful situations;
- understanding of military culture and the specifics of service;
- experience working within military structures is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided in full;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
