Psychologist

The psychologist supports the personnel of an unmanned systems brigade at every stage of service: conducts interviews during psychological selection of candidates, prepares soldiers for combat tasks, counsels and tests them, assesses their condition and works with commanders on the climate within units. The work is both one-on-one and in groups, with regular reporting.
Responsibilities
- conducting interviews as part of psychological selection;
- psychologically preparing personnel for combat tasks;
- individual counselling and psychological testing;
- assessing and analysing the psychological state of soldiers;
- deciding on measures to address the problems identified;
- working with commanders to build a healthy climate within units;
- running psychoeducation sessions and keeping reports.
Requirements
- a degree in psychology and professional experience;
- practical skills in providing psychological help;
- personal readiness to work with other people's combat experience;
- responsibility, discipline and a commitment to keep learning;
- experience working with soldiers and veterans is an advantage;
- psychotherapy training is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
