Platoon Medic

The platoon medic provides first aid to the wounded right at the position: stops bleeding, stabilizes the casualty and escorts them to the evacuation point. Works as part of a platoon in an assault unmanned systems brigade, goes out with the group on missions and, between missions, is responsible for the platoon's medical supplies and their replenishment.
Responsibilities
- assessing the condition of the wounded and giving first aid on the spot;
- stopping bleeding, applying dressings and immobilizing injuries;
- performing resuscitation when needed;
- escorting and transporting the wounded to medical posts and evacuation points;
- keeping medical records on casualties and the care provided;
- maintaining the platoon's medical post and sanitary conditions;
- replenishing and monitoring the platoon's stock of medical supplies.
Requirements
- completed tactical medicine training;
- knowledge of the basics of military medicine and pre-hospital care;
- ability to work with medical equipment;
- physical endurance and readiness to work in field conditions;
- responsibility, stress resilience and teamwork;
- a medical degree or prior experience in healthcare is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's approval;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- full uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- support at every stage of enlistment and service.
