Electronic Warfare Workshop Technician

The electronic warfare workshop technician repairs the electronic warfare equipment of an unmanned systems brigade: traces faults with measuring instruments, solders circuit boards, restores power supplies and reflashes modules for new frequencies. The work is done at a workshop bench and on trips to where the equipment is deployed, whenever a fault has to be fixed on site.
Responsibilities
- tracing faults with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers;
- soldering microchips and replacing antenna and feeder components;
- repairing power circuits and power supply systems, including batteries;
- reflashing modules for new enemy frequencies and replacing antennas to extend range;
- checking dome-type jammers and anti-drone guns before they are sent to positions;
- travelling to where equipment is deployed to fix breakdowns on site;
- keeping records on equipment condition and spare parts stock.
Requirements
- soldering skills and experience repairing electronic circuit boards;
- ability to work with an oscilloscope and a spectrum analyzer;
- understanding of analog and digital circuit design;
- readiness to travel to the area of combat operations.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the commander's consent;
- workshop-based work with periodic trips to where the equipment is deployed;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees under Ukrainian law.
