The security company rifleman stands guard at posts protecting the facilities of an unmanned systems brigade: checks access, watches the grounds and uses small arms if a threat arises. This is guard duty in shifts, including night watches; between duties the rifleman trains at the range and looks after weapons.
Responsibilities
- standing guard at posts protecting the unit's facilities;
- enforcing access control and checking documents at entry points;
- countering sabotage attempts and unauthorised entry onto the grounds;
- carrying out shooting exercises and drills under set procedures;
- maintaining firearms and keeping account of ammunition;
- following safety rules during shooting and taking part in training.
Requirements
- readiness for guard duty, including night shifts;
- physical endurance;
- attentiveness and the ability to stay alert for long periods;
- discipline and precise execution of orders;
- prior experience handling small arms is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving, with the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- housing, meals, uniform and equipment provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
