The medic is responsible for providing emergency medical care to personnel in field conditions and during evacuation. The role involves stabilizing the condition of the wounded, monitoring the unit's medical supplies, and organizing the transportation of casualties to medical facilities.
Responsibilities
- provide emergency medical care, including hemorrhage control, immobilization, and resuscitation;
- organize and execute the evacuation of wounded personnel to medical facilities;
- monitor the health status of personnel and provide pre-hospital care;
- maintain medical documentation and records of provided treatment;
- maintain proper sanitary and hygienic conditions at the medical point;
- monitor the availability and condition of medical equipment, medications, and supplies.
Requirements
- medical degree or diploma (physician, paramedic, or nurse);
- knowledge of emergency care protocols in extreme environments;
- proficiency in using medical tools and equipment;
- ability to make quick decisions in high-stress situations;
- physical endurance and readiness for significant physical exertion;
- fitness for military service for health reasons.
