FPV Drone Training Instructor
Non-Combat Roles20 000-50 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The FPV drone training instructor teaches the brigade's personnel how to operate FPV drones and use them in combat. Prepares training materials, plans training flights and routes, runs classes with strict adherence to safety rules and assesses whether operators are ready for real tasks. The work is within a training group, in constant contact with trainees.
Responsibilities
- training personnel to operate FPV drones and use them in combat;
- running classes and ensuring safety rules are followed during training;
- preparing training materials, planning missions and routes for training flights;
- assessing the knowledge and skills of personnel;
- developing measures to raise the professional level of operators;
- overseeing the daily routine and the completion of the unit commander's tasks.
Requirements
- confident FPV drone piloting and at least one year of combat experience with drones;
- knowledge of navigation basics, FPV drone design, video transmitters and antennas;
- experience with Betaflight and iNav flight controller firmware and the BLHeli tool;
- knowledge of electronic warfare basics and ways to counter it;
- skills in assembling, configuring and testing FPV drones;
- experience running training sessions, briefings and instruction;
- discipline, attentiveness and the ability to teach trainees.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
