Interceptor Drone Technician
Non-Combat Roles20 000-50 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The interceptor drone technician prepares anti-aircraft drones for use: assembles the aircraft, checks and replaces modules, runs pre-launch diagnostics and clears faults before take-off. The work is done in the ground technical team of an unmanned systems regiment, in close contact with the operator. No previous drone experience is needed; the skills are learned on the job.
Responsibilities
- preparing anti-aircraft interceptor drones for use;
- assembling aircraft, checking and replacing modules and components;
- pre-launch diagnostics and readiness checks before flight;
- clearing basic technical faults before launch;
- working alongside the operator during combat missions;
- keeping records of aircraft and their spare parts.
Requirements
- basic technical aptitude and hand-tool skills;
- willingness to learn drone work from scratch;
- accuracy and attention to detail;
- discipline and ability to work in step with the crew;
- category B driving licence.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- free medical care;
- guaranteed annual paid leave;
- on-the-job training in drone maintenance.
