Vehicle Mechanic

The vehicle mechanic keeps the unit's cars in working order, from scheduled servicing to diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical, electrical and electronic systems. The work requires technical knowledge, accuracy and the ability to use diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities
- diagnosing and repairing vehicles of various makes and models used by the unit;
- finding and fixing faults in the mechanical, electrical and electronic systems of vehicles;
- planning and carrying out regular maintenance to the military unit's standards;
- working with diagnostic equipment and tools;
- ordering spare parts and tools and monitoring their availability;
- keeping the workplace clean and orderly.
Requirements
- knowledge of automotive equipment, electrics and electronics;
- experience in repairing and servicing vehicles;
- ability to work with diagnostic equipment and tools;
- attention to detail and responsibility;
- ability to work in a team;
- stress resistance;
- willingness to learn and improve skills.
Conditions
- service under contract or by mobilization; servicemembers already in the Armed Forces of Ukraine can be transferred;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- provision of uniform and meals;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
