Design engineer

A design engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and adapting technical solutions for unit products and systems. The role includes designing new components, prototyping, working with existing samples, and collaborating with end users. The primary focus is functionality, reliability, and compliance with operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Designing new and non-standard components and mechanisms;
- Prototyping products and refining designs for mass production;
- Working with existing samples and performing reverse engineering;
- Modifying existing components to meet new operational requirements;
- Communicating with testers, pilots, and operators to improve designs;
- Preparing design documentation and supporting design changes.
Requirements
- Basic or advanced knowledge of engineering design and drafting;
- Understanding of mechanical systems and components;
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail;
- Ability to work with technical documentation;
- Willingness to learn and improve professional skills.
