Design Engineer

The design engineer designs parts and assemblies for the products of an unmanned systems center in SolidWorks and takes them from sketch to series production: chooses the material and manufacturing method for each part, prepares drawings for the workshop, checks finished samples against the specification and refines the design based on test results.
Responsibilities
- designing 3D models of parts and assemblies;
- preparing parts and drawings for handover to production;
- selecting materials and the manufacturing method for each part;
- checking manufactured parts against the technical specification;
- refining the design based on sample test results;
- maintaining design documentation for the products.
Requirements
- experience as a design engineer;
- confident daily use of SolidWorks;
- understanding of manufacturing methods: milling, laser cutting, 3D printing;
- knowledge of the properties of structural materials;
- ability to read and produce drawings to standards.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus benefits and insurance;
- annual paid leave plus additional leave for family reasons;
- free medical care and statutory social guarantees.
