A senior Java backend engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side of high-load systems using JAVA. The role involves business logic implementation, API development, database integration, and performance optimization. The primary focus is service stability, solution scalability, and architectural compliance.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing backend components using JAVA;
- Implementing and maintaining APIs and business logic;
- Working with JAVA 11+ in production environments;
- Using JAVA 21 and SPRING BOOT 3 for service development;
- Working with KAFKA and ELASTICSEARCH for data processing;
- Integrating and maintaining POSTGRESQL and MONGODB databases;
- Containerizing services using DOCKER and KUBERNETES;
- Using GIT, MAVEN, or GRADLE in the development workflow;
- Participating in code reviews and ensuring test coverage;
- Working with technical documentation in English.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in JAVA and backend development experience;
- Understanding of scalable backend system design principles;
- Experience working with databases and transactions;
- Knowledge of REST APIs and security principles;
- Analytical thinking and ability to work in a team.
