Legal Officer

The legal officer makes sure that command decisions and the unit's day-to-day activities comply with the law. Conducts internal investigations, prepares reports, orders and certificates, advises personnel on service-related matters, handles appeals from service members and their families and explains changes in military legislation. Work with documents and people.
Responsibilities
- conducting internal investigations in accordance with current legislation;
- preparing reports, certificates, orders and supporting documents;
- advising personnel on legal matters related to service;
- checking command decisions and actions for compliance with the law;
- handling appeals from service members and their families;
- explaining changes in military legislation to personnel.
Requirements
- law degree and professional experience in the field;
- ability to draft legal documents and conduct official correspondence;
- communication skills and the ability to work with people under stress;
- responsibility and attention to detail when working with documents;
- knowledge of military legislation, regulations and orders is an advantage;
- experience of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine or in public service is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave of 30 days;
- statutory social guarantees.
