Legal Adviser

The lawyer provides legal support for the military unit: analyzes regulations and official documents, prepares legal opinions and advises the command. Represents the unit's interests in dealings with state bodies.
Responsibilities
- legal review of orders, directives, contracts and official documents;
- preparing legal opinions and recommendations for the command;
- monitoring compliance of the unit's activities with current legislation of Ukraine;
- supporting personnel, disciplinary and administrative procedures;
- taking part in official inquiries and preparing materials based on their results;
- representing the unit's interests in dealings with state bodies;
- advising service members on legal matters within the scope of competence.
Requirements
- higher legal education (master's degree in law);
- at least 2 years of experience as a lawyer;
- knowledge of legislation on military service and mobilization, administrative and disciplinary law, and labor law;
- ability to prepare legal opinions and analytical briefs;
- systematic approach, attention to detail, sense of responsibility;
- experience in the public sector or the military is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000;
- uniform and personal protective equipment provided as needed;
- medical care and free treatment;
- 15 days of leave every six months; additional leave for family circumstances where there are legal grounds.
