Medical Station Paramedic

The medical station paramedic provides first aid and pre-hospital care to unit personnel, follows patients through to recovery and prepares the wounded for evacuation to hospitals. Based at the medical station of an unmanned systems brigade, the work combines hands-on care with accurate patient records, medical paperwork and control of medicine and supply stocks.
Responsibilities
- providing first aid and pre-hospital medical care to unit personnel;
- medical follow-up of sick service members until recovery;
- preparing wounded and sick personnel for evacuation to medical facilities;
- keeping records of patients treated at the medical station;
- maintaining the unit's medical documentation;
- monitoring medicine and medical supply stocks and replenishing them in time.
Requirements
- higher or vocational medical education;
- first aid and pre-hospital care skills;
- practical experience in healthcare;
- physical stamina and resilience under stress;
- literacy, responsibility and accuracy in record keeping;
- prior military service is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 70,000;
- full provision of uniform, equipment and meals;
- the medical station is located away from the front line;
- 30 days of annual paid leave.
