Company Equipment Technician

The company equipment technician keeps the company's weapons and vehicles serviceable and ready for use: organises maintenance and repairs, trains drivers and crews in proper operation, keeps records of vehicles, fuel and property, and reports to the company commander on technical condition. The work in an unmanned systems brigade combines hands-on tasks with paperwork.
Responsibilities
- keeping the company's weapons and vehicles in constant readiness for use;
- organising the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment;
- training drivers and crews in operating rules and checking their knowledge;
- keeping records of vehicles, fuel, lubricants and company property;
- monitoring storage conditions and ensuring faults are fixed in time;
- reporting to the company commander on technical condition, repair needs and fuel consumption.
Requirements
- knowledge of the design and operating rules of motor vehicles and other equipment;
- experience in organising maintenance and repair work;
- knowledge of the internal service regulations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- record-keeping skills for vehicles, fuel and lubricants;
- ability to train personnel and supervise subordinates;
- organised approach to documentation.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 70,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided in line with standard allowances;
- service away from the front line;
- 30 days of annual paid leave.
