Ground Robotic Systems Design Engineer
Non-Combat Roles20 000-50 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The ground robotic systems design engineer designs the mechanical systems and modules of the unit's robotic platforms and drones: creates 3D models and technical drawings, develops sheet metal parts with bend calculations and springback compensation. The work is done in the design team of an unmanned systems brigade and includes producing and maintaining design documentation.
Responsibilities
- developing and improving the mechanical systems of robotic platforms;
- designing modules for ground robotic systems and UAVs;
- creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings;
- designing sheet metal parts and creating their flat patterns;
- calculating bend parameters and springback compensation;
- producing and maintaining design documentation.
Requirements
- experience as a design engineer or draftsperson;
- proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Fusion 360 CAD systems;
- knowledge of the fundamentals of mechanics and materials science;
- experience working with composites, aluminium, plastics and steels;
- analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- service in the rear, away from the combat zone;
- housing provided; uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- 15 days of leave every six months and statutory social guarantees.
