The evacuation team rifleman secures the withdrawal of drone crews from forward positions: provides covering fire for the evacuation team and launch sites, keeps watch and reports detected threats to the commander. This is field work in a small group where the outcome depends on coordinated action, endurance and weapons kept in working order.
Responsibilities
- taking part in the drone unit's evacuation missions;
- providing covering fire and direct protection for the evacuation team;
- covering forward drone launch positions;
- observing the situation and reporting detected threats to the commander;
- keeping weapons and gear in working order;
- acting as part of the group during movement and when taking up positions.
Requirements
- readiness to work in the field as part of a drone unit;
- physical endurance and emotional resilience;
- ability to act in coordination with the group and follow the commander's orders;
- attentiveness during long periods of observation;
- combat experience and confident weapons handling are an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- personal protective equipment, gear and uniform provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- training and opportunities for professional growth within the unit.
