Signals Intelligence Operator

The signals intelligence operator deploys and maintains a network of radio signal monitoring posts, watches the state of the data links and fixes equipment faults. Alongside that, looks for and introduces new technical solutions, improves how the equipment operates and documents the work of the posts. Engineering work with radio equipment and Linux networks.
Responsibilities
- deploying a network of signals intelligence equipment;
- monitoring the posts and the state of the data links;
- servicing the equipment and fixing faults at the posts;
- improving the operating algorithms of the signals intelligence equipment;
- finding and introducing new technical solutions;
- documenting the work of the posts.
Requirements
- higher technical education in radio electronics or computer engineering;
- professional experience in this or a related field;
- experience building, configuring and monitoring Linux networks;
- understanding of radio wave physics and signal propagation;
- experience with SDR and GNU Radio is an advantage.
Conditions
- position for enlisted personnel: service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, insurance and free medical treatment;
- annual paid leave plus 10 days of additional leave for family reasons;
- benefits and statutory social guarantees.
