FPV Drone Pilot
Combat Roles50 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The FPV drone pilot flies combat missions as part of a crew in an unmanned systems brigade: guides the drone onto its target and strikes enemy vehicles and personnel. Prepares the aircraft personally, setting up the control gear, frequencies and video link, and does minor repairs after flights. The work is done in the field, under pressure and in close contact with the crew.
Responsibilities
- preparing and checking FPV drones before combat flights;
- flying the drone in combat conditions to strike designated targets;
- setting up the control equipment and frequencies for each task;
- working with analogue and digital video transmission systems;
- minor repair and restoration of drones after flights.
Requirements
- FPV experience, including at hobby level, or readiness to learn quickly;
- confident computer skills and a basic understanding of electronics;
- ability to stay focused under stress;
- physical stamina and readiness to work in the field;
- responsibility and discipline.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000 to UAH 120,000;
- full uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and 10 days of additional leave for family reasons;
- insurance, free medical care and statutory social guarantees.
