Design Engineer

The design engineer develops mechanical systems and modules for robotic platforms and UAVs and prepares design documentation for them. This is computer-based work in CAD systems that calls for engineering thinking, technical literacy and accurate calculations.
Responsibilities
- developing, designing and improving mechanical systems and modules for robotic platforms and UAVs;
- creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings;
- preparing design documentation;
- designing sheet metal parts;
- creating flat patterns for sheet metal parts;
- calculating bending parameters and compensation for elastic deformation.
Requirements
- at least 2 years of experience as a design engineer or designer;
- proficiency in CAD systems (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) for developing and optimizing designs;
- knowledge of mechanics and materials science, ability to work with various materials (composites, aluminium, plastic, steel);
- technical competence in design and calculations for building functional prototypes;
- analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000;
- service in a rear area, away from the combat zone;
