Command Post Information Operator (Officer)

The command post information operator receives data from various sources, checks it and shows the situation on maps, and passes changes to the command and cooperating units. The work involves constant monitoring and calls for speed and attention.
Responsibilities
- monitoring and receiving information from various sources (reconnaissance, surveillance equipment, unit reports);
- organizing and verifying the received information;
- plotting the operational situation on maps or in specialized information systems;
- promptly informing the command and cooperating units about changes in the situation;
- compiling summaries and analytical briefings;
- drawing up combat reports and combat orders;
- keeping observation logs.
Requirements
- confident use of a PC, MS Office (especially Excel for consolidating data) and basic networking technologies;
- skills in working with geographic information systems, military simulators and situational awareness systems;
- ability to quickly filter large volumes of information;
- knowledge of how digital radios and satellite systems work.
Conditions
- military service under contract or by mobilization; serving personnel can transfer;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- food and clothing provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
