The head of armament, who is also deputy head of logistics, makes sure the brigade's units have serviceable weapons, vehicles and ammunition and that property records match the documents. The work combines organizing supplies, monitoring the condition of equipment and drawing up write-off documents.
Responsibilities
- organizing the receipt, delivery and issue of weapons, military equipment and ammunition to units;
- directing the evacuation of damaged or faulty equipment to mobile repair workshops;
- organizing storage, preservation, maintenance and safe use of weapons and equipment;
- constant monitoring of the availability, condition and category of all assigned weapons;
- timely and legally correct drawing up of write-off acts for equipment and weapons destroyed or lost in combat.
Requirements
- higher education, preferably in military technology, engineering or logistics;
- experience as head of a relevant service (missile and artillery weapons, armored vehicles and similar) or as assistant head of logistics;
- skills in organizing storage, maintenance, repair and evacuation of weapons and military equipment;
- keeping ledgers and drawing up transfer acts, inventory lists and write-off acts for property lost in combat.
Conditions
- recruitment under contract or through mobilization; transfer is open to current service members;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform and meals supplied;
- annual paid leave and the social guarantees set out in law.
