The head of the service is responsible for supplying units with property in the assigned category, including specific naval forces property: calculates needs, receives property from warehouses, keeps records and prepares write-offs. The work is administrative and organizational and involves financial liability.
Responsibilities
- calculating the units' need for property (fuel, clothing, food, technical);
- organizing the receipt of supplies from central warehouses and storage bases;
- monitoring the correct keeping of ledgers, record cards, supply certificates and delivery notes for the assigned category;
- primary accounting of supplies in the automated logistics management system (SAP);
- preparing write-off documents for property that was used, lost in combat or has reached the end of its service life (Ministry of Defense order No. 440);
- compiling reports on the movement and balances of property and submitting them to higher command on time;
- taking part in internal investigations of shortages or damage and preparing materials to hold those responsible financially liable.
Requirements
- knowledge of Ministry of Defense orders on accounting, storage and write-off of military property, including order No. 440;
- ability to keep ledgers, supply certificates, delivery notes and requisitions and to produce reports for the assigned category;
- understanding of warehousing rules and storage conditions for specific naval forces property, inventory checks and control of remaining stock;
- readiness to bear financial liability for the safekeeping of property;
- ability to decide quickly and redistribute resources under time pressure or when the operational situation changes.
Conditions
- mobilization for the duration of martial law or service under contract; serving personnel may transfer;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- meals and clothing are supplied;
- statutory social guarantees and annual paid leave.
