Operations Manager / Project Manager

The operations and project manager plans and coordinates the unit's projects: tracks deadlines and resources, builds cooperation between departments and reports on interim and final results. Works on several projects at once in constant contact with the battalion commander.
Responsibilities
- running several projects at once, from planning to delivery, keeping deadlines and resources under control;
- taking part in planning and delivering the unit's strategic tasks;
- close cooperation with the battalion commander on the flow of tasks;
- ensuring cooperation between the unit's departments and timely completion of tasks;
- organising team communication in task management systems (Jira, Trello, Asana and similar);
- regular reporting on interim and final results of tasks;
- analysing results and proposing ways to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- practical knowledge of project management tools, for example Notion, Jira and other task trackers;
- ability to run several parallel projects, keep deadlines and not lose details;
- structured thinking and proactivity;
- independence in decision-making and the ability to act with incomplete information and uncertainty;
- ability to coordinate heads of departments without direct authority, through trust and clear processes;
- confident use of MS Excel and Google Workspace;
- experience in technical or defence projects is a plus.
Conditions
- mobilization for the duration of martial law or contract service; transfer for those already serving, subject to the command's approval;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000;
- uniform and personal protective equipment provided as needed;
- medical care and free treatment;
- 15 days of leave every six months; additional leave for family circumstances where there are legal grounds.
