A Combat Engineer (EOD Specialist) is a service member responsible for identifying hazardous explosive items, supporting units with engineer capabilities in combat conditions, participating in specialized training, and operating strictly within safety procedures and military discipline.
Responsibilities
- detection, identification, and disposal of explosive hazards, including mines, booby traps, and unsafe explosive devices;
- engineering support to defensive and offensive operations;
- participation in training programs to enhance professional skills;
- compliance with military discipline and lawful orders.
Requirements
- citizenship of Ukraine;
- medical fitness for military service;
- physical endurance and readiness for demanding work;
- willingness to operate in combat areas;
- completion of specialized training and qualification upgrading;
- knowledge of technical systems and equipment;
- high responsibility and attention to detail;
- prior military experience and familiarity with explosive hazards are an advantage.
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of martial law or service under contract;
- remuneration in accordance with current legislation;
- social benefits;
- guaranteed annual leave of 30 days plus an additional 10 days for family reasons;
- basic military training for civilians;
- possibility of transfer for current service members with the consent of their immediate commander;
- enlisted/sergeant rank position.
