Air Defense UAV Pilot/Operator
Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
An Air Defense UAV Pilot/Operator intercepts enemy aerial targets using UAVs and related systems, plans and conducts missions, works with maps and radar assets, coordinates with combat units, and ensures safe and effective deployment of unmanned systems.
Responsibilities
- intercepting enemy aerial targets (wing-type UAVs, FPVs, Mavic-type drones);
- planning and execution of flight missions;
- developing routes considering terrain and enemy air corridors;
- analyzing and transmitting collected data to operational units;
- communication with radar duty officers (own and adjacent units);
- ensuring safe operation of unmanned systems.
Requirements
- ability to maintain UAVs in proper technical condition;
- compliance with safety and confidentiality rules during tasks;
- ability to work with mapping software and navigation systems;
- attention to detail and responsibility;
- experience with UAVs is an advantage (training available if none);
- teamwork capability;
- willingness to learn and develop.
