Company Chief Technician

The company chief technician makes sure the company's vehicles and equipment are ready to go out: organizes maintenance and routine repairs, assesses the scope of work for each fault found, keeps operating records and tracks the use of spare parts and fuel. Work in the repair area and on the vehicles, with tools in hand and paperwork on the desk.
Responsibilities
- keeping the company's vehicles and equipment serviceable and ready for use;
- organizing and carrying out maintenance and routine repairs;
- identifying faults and determining the scope of repair work;
- keeping records of the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment;
- monitoring the use of spare parts, assemblies and consumables;
- preparing requests for spare parts and checking the availability of tools and equipment.
Requirements
- technical education or proven hands-on experience in equipment repair;
- understanding of how engines, transmissions and running gear are built and work;
- confident use of mechanic's and diagnostic tools;
- knowledge of the basics of recording and writing off fuel, lubricants and spare parts;
- experience leading a repair team is an advantage.
Conditions
- sergeant-level position: service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving, with the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 23,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, statutory social guarantees and benefits;
- annual paid leave and additional leave as provided by law.
