Vehicle Mechanic

The vehicle mechanic keeps the motor vehicles of an unmanned systems brigade running: the cars, pickups and vans that carry crews, drones and supplies. Diagnoses faults, carries out routine and major repairs, replaces units and assemblies and keeps track of spare parts. The work is done in a workshop with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities
- diagnosing vehicles and identifying faults;
- routine and major repair of motor vehicles;
- repairing and replacing units and assemblies;
- metalwork and fitting jobs;
- ordering spare parts and keeping track of stock;
- keeping the workshop tools and equipment in working order.
Requirements
- experience as a car mechanic or vehicle repair fitter;
- ability to work with diagnostic equipment and tools;
- computer diagnostics skills;
- responsibility and discipline;
- experience repairing cars, pickups and minibuses is an advantage;
- driving licence categories B, C and D is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus material support;

- access to the unit's psychologists.
