The head of the planning group leads a team of staff officers in a battalion headquarters that prepares combat orders, directives and other planning documents. Consolidates unit reports into the data the battalion commander bases decisions on, and tracks task completion and deadlines. Staff work with documents, in constant contact with the units and other staff sections.
Responsibilities
- leading the planning group and organising its day-to-day work;
- drafting combat orders, directives and other planning documents;
- preparing and maintaining the battalion's core documentation;
- consolidating unit reports and preparing summary data for the commander;
- organising coordination between battalion units and the staff sections;
- monitoring the completion of assigned tasks and adherence to deadlines.
Requirements
- higher education;
- knowledge of the regulations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the current legal framework;
- confident computer skills, including Word and Excel;
- ability to plan work and handle several tasks at once;
- responsibility, discipline and respect for the chain of command.
Conditions
- officer position: service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 26,000 to UAH 126,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave plus additional leave;
- statutory social guarantees and benefits.
