Demolitions Instructor

The demolitions instructor trains personnel to handle explosive hazards and engineer equipment safely. Teaches in the classroom and on the training ground, takes groups out for field exercises in mine clearance and setting up obstacles, tests the skills they have learned and assesses each soldier's readiness to work with explosives.
Responsibilities
- organising and running mine and demolitions training sessions;
- teaching safety rules for demolition work and the use of engineer equipment;
- running field exercises in setting up obstacles and clearing mines;
- scheduled sessions on the risks of handling explosive hazards;
- assessing personnel through practical tests and examinations;
- maintaining discipline during training and exercises;
- keeping up with new methods and technologies in demolitions.
Requirements
- military qualification as a sapper;
- ability to run training and exercises with groups of service members;
- desire to master demolitions and grow in the field;
- knowledge of demolitions and relevant practical experience are an advantage;
- a demolitions work permit or an instructor's certificate is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave of 30 calendar days plus up to 10 additional days for family reasons;
- access to the unit's psychologists.
