Radio and Satellite Communications Instructor

The radio and satellite communications instructor trains personnel to operate handheld, mobile and fixed radios as well as satellite terminals. Explains how the equipment works, sets it up together with the soldiers, drills communication under interference and in bad weather, and organises field exercises on which coordination between crews depends in real operations.
Responsibilities
- training in the use of handheld, mobile and fixed radios;
- explaining how radio equipment works and how to set it up;
- training in manual and automated communication systems;
- drills in radio communication under interference and in bad weather;
- training in the use of satellite links for data transfer and navigation;
- organising field exercises in radio and satellite communications.
Requirements
- education in radio engineering, telecommunications or electronics;
- military service experience in a communications specialty;
- knowledge of safe weapons handling rules;
- ability to work in a team and at a fast pace;
- responsibility and discipline;
- ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave of 30 calendar days plus up to 10 additional days for family reasons;
- access to the unit's psychologists.
