
Communications Line Technician

The communications line technician keeps the communication lines that connect the units of an unmanned systems brigade working: connects subscribers to the network, services network equipment, finds and repairs faulty sections. The job involves travel, alternating between setting up equipment on site and working on the lines, with every completed job logged.
Responsibilities
- connecting units and subscribers to the network;
- servicing network equipment and repairing lines;
- fixing faults on sections of the network;
- configuring subscribers' equipment;
- working with Ethernet and GPON technologies;
- keeping records of work completed on assigned sections.
Requirements
- education in telecommunications, including unfinished studies;
- experience in a similar role or willingness to learn;
- communication skills, punctuality and the ability to explain things;
- experience with structured cabling and a basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP and DHCP is an advantage;
- experience configuring routers, access points and video surveillance is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
