Counter-Drone Electronic Warfare Operator
Combat Roles50 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The counter-drone electronic warfare operator works with signals intelligence and electronic warfare equipment: detects enemy drones in the radio spectrum and jams them. Service is in shifts as part of a crew: the operator gathers and processes data on the air situation, warns neighbouring units about detected threats and compiles the shift's results into a report.
Responsibilities
- detecting enemy drones with signals intelligence equipment;
- using electronic warfare equipment to counter detected targets;
- gathering and processing data on the air situation;
- passing information about detected threats to neighbouring units;
- compiling reports on the results of each shift;
- keeping working records on a computer.
Requirements
- confident computer skills;
- ability to learn new equipment quickly;
- responsibility and attention to detail;
- ability to work in a team and a desire to grow professionally.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- training on the equipment and practice before taking up duty.
