The company sergeant major keeps daily order in a company of the training center: leads the sergeants, makes sure the daily routine is followed and keeps track of the condition of weapons, gear and barracks. The work involves constant contact with personnel, property accounting and regular reports to the company commander on the state of the unit and the needs of its people.
Responsibilities
- maintaining military discipline and regulation order in the company;
- organizing the company's daily activities according to the daily routine;
- leading the sergeants and checking that assigned tasks are completed;
- monitoring the condition of weapons, gear and barracks facilities;
- keeping records of the company's material and technical resources;
- reporting to the company commander on the state of the unit and personnel needs.
Requirements
- experience serving in sergeant positions;
- skills in keeping records of a unit's material and technical resources;
- ability to make quick decisions under stress;
- confident computer skills;
- discipline and a strong sense of responsibility;
- good physical fitness and endurance.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
