Senior Electronic Warfare Operator

The senior electronic warfare operator watches the radio spectrum over the training center's ranges: detects and identifies unknown signals, pinpoints threats and applies jamming. The work is done at the equipment as part of a section and calls for sustained attention over long shifts; results are reported to the commander and entered in the station's log.
Responsibilities
- operating electronic warfare equipment according to assigned tasks;
- monitoring the radio spectrum and analyzing detected signals;
- detecting and locating threats in the area of responsibility;
- taking countermeasures against detected hostile systems;
- preparing the equipment for operation and keeping it serviceable;
- keeping the station's log and reporting results to the commander.
Requirements
- understanding of radio wave propagation and how electronic warfare equipment works;
- readiness to work with electronic warfare equipment;
- confident computer skills;
- attentiveness and the ability to work with equipment for long periods;
- discipline and adherence to established procedures.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer available for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- full uniform and food provision;
- annual paid leave and social guarantees under the law.
